With this Newsflash, Eurex Clearing informs you about the ESG Clearing Compass Extension for Admissible Securities.
Eurex Clearing is extending its provision of data to support the clearing community with regards to their sustainable transformation activities. As of 30 August 2024, Eurex Clearing will provide an assessment of Admissible Securities on a portfolio level with climate metrics. This information will be publicly available in addition to the existing Admissible Securities file. The new report is called the ESG Admissible Securities Assessment and can be accessed on the Eurex Clearing website www.eurex.com/ec-en/ under the following path:

This offering builds on the Daily Collateral Climate Metrics (00RPTCDESG) report, which offers an assessment of securities delivered as Margin, excluding Buffer Margin, and Contributions to the Default Fund on a portfolio level with climate metrics, and is available for Clearing Members and individually segregated clients on the Common Report Engine (Eurex Clearing Circular 012/23) and/or in the Member Section of Deutsche Börse Group (Eurex Clearing Circular 088/23).
Details with regards to the metrics, aggregation of data on portfolio level as well as the structure and field definitions of the report are available in the Eurex Clearing ESG Portfolio Assessment Manual.
