Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash | C7 SCS: Simulation start – further information
Dear Clearing Member,
With this Newsflash Eurex Clearing wants to draw your attention to the C7 SCS simulation start and the Focus days in the first part of simulation. Furthermore, Eurex Clearing wants to share the current “List of Known Limitations for C7-SCS 1.0 Member Simulation” for C7 SCS simulation which can be found under Support on our website.
1. C7 SCS Focus Days
C7 SCS focus days offered in simulation in the calendar week 13-15/21, the detailed description of C7 SCS is provided under: Eurex Clearing > Support > Initiatives > C7 SCS > Member Simulation Guide incl. Focus Days.
A. Net Processing
This scenario focuses on loading the trades that have been initiated by members at the Trading Locations XETR, XFRA and XEUR to C7 SCS. This is followed by the Net Processing that happens during the end of day processing with the different alternatives for the Net Processing Method Netting, Aggregation and Gross and results finally in the Net Clearing Report (CE890/895).
B. Linking before Aggregation
This focus day shows the effect of Linking Service on the processing and reporting in case Aggregation is selected as Net Processing Method.
C. Delivery Instruction all (I)CSDs
The focus is set on the settlement processing with the (I)CSDs CBF, CBF-i/CBL and SIS. No (I)CSDs are connected to C7 SCS during this period and C7 SCS member reporting is based on a simulated (I)CSD feedback to C7 SCS. Members will face a usual standard reporting from C7 SCS which is not deviating from a reporting in case C7 SCS would be connected to (I)CSDs. Members will not receive any (I)CSD reporting as (I)CSDs are not yet connected to C7 SCS.
D. Routing Service for CBF-i/CBL
The focus is set on the Routing Service that can be performed for CBF-i/CBL settlement instructions.
2. Known Limitations
The current “List of Known Limitations for C7-SCS 1.0 Member Simulation” for C7 SCS simulation is been already published on the initiative site under: Eurex Clearing > Support > Initiatives & Releases > C7 SCS Releases. This list will be updated frequently during the simulation period.
