Swiss stocks return to Xetra

From 2 May 2025, trading in Swiss securities will resume on the Open Market, Quotation Board of the Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse (FWB®, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange). As of now, around 40 Swiss equities are already tradable again via Xetra.


Trading turnovers

Order book turnover at trading venue Xetra stood at €201.09 billion in March.

New ETF and ETP listings from Amundi and WisdomTree

Since April 30th, a new ETF from Amundi investing in the top 500 US companies is tradable. WisdomTree has launched a commodity ETC and a short ETN on the European aerospace and defense sector. Further information on the ETFs can be found in the link.

25 Years of ETFs on Xetra

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Please find further information about incident handling in the Emergency Playbook published on the Xetra webpage under Technology --> T7 trading architecture --> Emergency procedures. Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message
