Global Macroeconomic Outlook 2017

Dr. Sylvain Broyer, Head of Economics, Natixis offers a brief outlook on the global macroeconomic perspective for 2017, touching on all areas from Brexit to Trump and inflation risks across the Eurozone.

Mr. Broyer holds doctorate degrees in economics from the Universities of Frankfurt and Lyon. In 2000, he joined the Portfolio Management team of the French Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations office in Frankfurt, before joining the economic research team of the group, which he heads since 2008. In 2015 he was appointed as Member of the General management of the Natixis Frankfurt Branch.

Broyer also writes columns for leading European economic magazines, teaches at Paris Dauphine University for the Master in banking and has published numerous scientific papers as well as chapters in academic textbooks. In November 2012 he became member of the “ECB shadow Council”, the Handelsblatt’s panel of leading European economists.
