Field of activity

Based in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, CEINEX is a joint venture established by Shanghai Stock Exchange, Deutsche Börse Group and China Financial Futures Exchange. Established in November 2015 and as the first platform for China and Renminbi related products in the offshore market, it acts as a unique bridge between the Chinese and international financial markets. CEINEX is dedicated to promoting the cooperation between and mutual development of Chinese and international financial markets. China Europe International Exchange AG promotes RMB internationalisation and capital market liberalisation. It develops and markets financial instruments based on Chinese underlyings to international investors outside mainland China.

The new company will have operations activities performed by Deutsche Börse AG. As the Operations Officer you will be responsible for all operations related activities and coordination between Deutsche Börse and CEINEX. You will be the central contact person for internal and external stakeholders for all operations-related tasks.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage outsourcing arrangement to Deutsche Börse AG incl. change requests for market operations and infrastructure
  • Define service catalogue scope, service level and key performance metrics
  • Develop and coordinate the implementation of operations roadmap
  • Assess operational risks
  • Manage CEINEX office infrastructure and operations related outsourcing arrangements to other service providers
  • Responsible for operations budget planning and controlling
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders on all operations related activities

Our requirements

  • At least 5 years of practical experience in the field of financial markets in an operations related role
  • University degree in economics, business administration, business informatics or a related field passed with distinction
  • Knowledge of relevant stakeholders at Deutsche Börse AG, their role in the operations process and a good understanding of operations for cash products (ETFs, bonds) and derivatives
  • Deutsch Börse operational networks and systems related experiences will be an asset
  • International working experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and German, Chinese language skills will be an asset
