Thomas Book

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Zürich AG

Thomas Book was appointed CEO of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Zürich AG on 7 March 2016 and is Head of Derivatives Markets Trading for Deutsche Börse Group. Since May 2007 he is also a Member of the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland.

After joining Deutsche Börse Group in October 1995, Mr. Book has held a number of different leadership positions at Deutsche Börse Group and Eurex Group. From October 2004 he was Head of Market Development for the cash and derivatives markets as well as for strategic projects. From March 2007 until December 2015, Mr. Book was responsible for Clearing at Deutsche Börse Group in his role as a Member of the Executive Boards of Eurex Frankfurt AG, Eurex Zürich AG (until June 2014) and Eurex Clearing AG. In April 2013 he assumed the role as CEO of Eurex Clearing AG until March 2016.

Thomas Book is a Member of the Global Markets Advisory Committee of the U.S. Commodities Futures Trading Commission.

Michael Peters

Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Member of the Executive Board of Eurex Zürich AG

Michael Peters is Deputy CEO of Eurex Frankfurt AG since February 2016. He has been a member of the Executive Boards of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Zürich AG since 2006. He is also a member of the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland.

As a Board Member, Mr. Peters is responsible for derivatives business development, which includes strategic initiatives, market development for Asia and Middle East as well as pricing policy.

From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Peters worked at OMX AB in Stockholm as Head of Projects as well as for Strategic Initiatives. Besides important projects for exchange and clearing organizations in the U.S. and Asia/Pacific, his duties included the evaluation and implementation of strategic initiatives for the next generation of trading and clearing systems.

From 2000 to 2001, he was Managing Director of Trading Technologies in Frankfurt and Chicago, responsible for Business Development. From 1991 to 2000, Mr. Peters held various management positions within Deutsche Börse and Eurex, as well as Deutsche Terminbörse (DTB), a predecessor of Eurex. From March 2006 until March 2013 he was a Member of the Executive Board of Eurex Clearing AG.





 

Romanos Daniel

Member of the Executive Boards of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Zürich AG

On 1 May 2017, Romanos Daniel was appointed to the Executive Board of Eurex Frankfurt AG as well as to the Executive Board of Eurex Zürich AG as Chief Innovation Officer.

Romanos Daniel’s professional career spans more than 15 years of trading and risk management in Over the Counter and Listed Derivatives in several leading roles. He joins from UBS in Hong Kong, where his latest position was Global Head of Legacy Credit Trading and Global Co-Head of Noncore Rates Trading. Daniel holds a PhD in mathematics (University of Cambridge).

Mehtap Dinc

Member of the Executive Boards of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Zürich AG

Mehtap Dinc has been in the financial industry for 20 years working in different positions in the banking sector; she joined Eurex in 1999 as a Product Manager.

Since then, Dinc held a variety of product strategy, product development and project management positions. She took over the responsibility for Product Development at Eurex in March 2012 and is responsible for development and management of derivatives contracts. Since November 2013 she is also a member of the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland.

Peter Reitz

CEO of European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) and European Commodity Clearing AG (ECC)
Member of the Executive Boards of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Zürich AG

Since August 2011, Peter Reitz has been Chief Executive Officer of the European Energy Exchange AG and the European Commodity Clearing AG. He is a member of the Executive Board of Eurex Zürich AG and Eurex Frankfurt AG – a position he has held since August 2001.

Mr. Reitz worked for Deutsche Börse from 1991 to 2000, performing various management functions in the area of product development, as head of the IP Design & Functionality section. He was also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of STOXX Limited from 1998 until 1999. In April 2000, Mr. Reitz was appointed as Head of Research & Development at U.S.-based Dow Jones Indexes before moving to the Executive Board of Eurex in August 2001. Until March 2013 he was also a Member of the Executive Board of Eurex Clearing AG and until November 2013 he was a Member of the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland.

Mr. Reitz studied mathematics and economics at Braunschweig Technical University, earning the German degree of Diplom-Mathematiker (diploma in mathematics).

Randolf Roth

Member of the Executive Boards of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Zürich AG

In April 2016, Randolf Roth was appointed to the Managing Board of Eurex Frankfurt AG as well as to the Executive Board of Eurex Zürich AG where he is responsible for Eurex Market Design. He is also a member of the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland since July 2016.

Until February 2016 Randolf Roth served as CEO two related companies: Zimory GmbH and Deutsche Börse Cloud Exchange AG. Previously, between 1999 - 2014, he had already been working for Eurex in London, Chicago and Frankfurt in a number of roles including Head of Strategy and Head of Market Structure.

Since 2011, Randolf Roth is a Non-Executive Director at the European Energy Exchange AG (EEX). In 1999, Randolf Roth received his PhD in Financial Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden.
