Erik Tim Müller

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eurex Clearing AG

Erik Tim Müller, CEO of Eurex Clearing AG, has over 20 years of experience in Capital Markets and is a Member of the Executive Board of Eurex Clearing AG since April 2013. He is also a member of the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland since March 2016.
As Managing Director of Deutsche Börse Group, he has been responsible for Corporate Strategy and M&A for many years. Since the IPO of Deutsche Börse in 2001, Erik Tim Müller has been a manager of the Deutsche Börse Group, and he has been responsible for Group Treasury including all treasury activities of the two bank licensed businesses of Deutsche Börse Group, Eurex Clearing in Frankfurt and Clearstream in Luxembourg, as well as for Investor Relations since 2008. He was a member of the Supervisory Board of Eurex Clearing AG from October 2010 until March 2013. He joined Deutsche Börse in 1997 and holds a dual degree MBA from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany and the Fuqua Business School in North Carolina, USA.

Heike Eckert

Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Eurex Clearing AG

Heike Eckert is the Deputy CEO as well as Chief Operating Officer of Eurex Clearing AG and has been a Member of the Executive Board of Eurex Clearing AG since April 2013.

Since joining Deutsche Börse Group in June 1995, Eckert has held a number of different leadership and project management positions at Deutsche Börse and Eurex.

From January 2007 until September 2009 she was head of the Eurex Chicago office and responsible for customer acquisition, product marketing and customer support in North and South America.

From May 2010 to March 2013 she was Head of Clearing Business Development at Eurex Clearing where she was responsible for the development of new clearing services for derivatives, securities and repo products.

She holds a degree in Economics from Christian-Albrecht-University in Kiel, Germany.

Thomas Laux

Member of the Executive Board of Eurex Clearing AG

Thomas Laux is Chief Risk Officer of Eurex Clearing AG and has been a Member of the Executive Board of Eurex Clearing AG since April 2013.

Thomas Laux joined Eurex Clearing in 2006 and has been Head of Risk Design since May 2010. Since then, he has been responsible for further developing the risk management system and default management process of the central counterparty Eurex Clearing.
Prior to joining Eurex Clearing in 2006, Thomas Laux spent six years at Deutsche Börse IT, working in a variety of positions on group-wide strategic projects, among them the specification of the clearing system.
He holds a dual degree MBA from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, and the Fuqua Business School in North Carolina, USA.

Matthias Graulich

Member of the Executive Board of Eurex Clearing AG

Matthias Graulich has been a Member of the Executive Board of Eurex Clearing AG since August 2014 and Chief Strategy Officer since February 2014.

Matthias Graulich joined Eurex Clearing in 2010. Since April 2013 he established and developed as Global Head of Clients & Markets a dedicated client facing organizational unit of Eurex Clearing. Before that he took responsibility as Head of Clearing Initiatives for the implementation of Eurex Clearing’s strategic project portfolio and regulatory affairs.  Since joining the Deutsche Börse Group in 2001, he has held a number of leadership and project management positions at Deutsche Börse and Eurex for various strategic projects, amongst others, the introduction of EurexOTC Clear as well as the merger and integration of the International Securities Exchange.

Matthias holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in North Carolina.

Manfred Matusza

Member of the Executive Board of Eurex Clearing AG

Manfred Matusza has more than 22 years of experience in the capital markets industry. Since July 2014 he heads the area Clearing & Risk IT, since April 2014 he is Chief Technology Officer of Eurex Clearing AG. He is responsible for the maintenance and further development of the IT systems and the IT strategy of the clearinghouse. He joined Deutsche Börse Group in April 2004 and held leading and project management positions at Deutsche Börse and Eurex Clearing. From November 1993 to March 2004 Manfred Matusza worked as consultant for Accenture and was involved in the further development of the IT systems of Deutsche Terminbörse, of the trading system Xetra and the development of the CCP system for clearing of cash and bond markets. He holds a diploma in Business Administration from Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen.
