European Energy Exchange (EEX)
The European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) operates spot and derivatives markets for a broad range of energy and related products - more than 270 participants trade EEX´s power, natural gas, emissions and coal products. Since 2007, EEX and Eurex Exchange have co-operated in power derivatives and emissions trading. Exchange and OTC trades can be cleared by either Eurex Clearing or European Commodity Clearing (ECC), EEX's specialized commodity clearing house.
